Heya Aces!

I really need to write some update posts, create some examples of play, and share some ideas... but I'm too busy creating and tweaking. The struggle is real folks!

First off, huge shoutout to Jacob DC Ross a.k.a DiscoSoup on Itch and Thunderegg Productions on DriveThruRPG who has been a source of constant encouragement and help throughout this journey. He's also posted some awesome playtests of Space Aces on his twitter account if you want to follow along with the adventures of Jett MacCool, be sure to check out Episodes 1, 2, and 3. Some people have called it "Ghibli in Space" and by "some people" I mean me.

A few updates...

1. I updated Star Hulks & Space Ruins again, per Jacob's idea that when you run out of supplies on your journey, you get to add +1 to encounter rolls to make it just a little easier to find that ultimate treasure or objective. I'm happy with how the dungeon generator stands now, and am pretty proud of all that you can accomplish with a set of rules on a simple business card.
2. I released the Galactic Guidebook module! A mini-hex crawl module that will give you a lite ruleset for exploring strange new worlds, meeting strange Mernicorns, and reviewing their cuisines for the Galactic Guidebook. Survivability on this module is much higher than Star Hulks & Space Ruins thankfully, though beware if you come across any ruins on your adventures...
3. And last but not least the Starship Shenanigans module has been released, providing an optional lite ruleset for space combat and for generating a starship that has a Holodeck with Sticky Floors... quite proud of the damage system on this, which results in either consoles exploding in your face or systems going down. Survivability is not great... so beware.
4. The core game card has been slightly updated as well to match the Starship Shenanigans update.
